Where They’re Butchered From
Chicken thighs are cut from the upper part of the chicken leg, known for their moist, tender meat and richer flavour compared to chicken breast. This versatile cut is ideal for various cooking methods.
Cooking Instructions
Cooking with our chicken thighs is simple and rewarding:
- Grilling: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Season the chicken thighs with salt, pepper, and your favourite herbs or marinade. Grill for 6-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 74°C. Let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Baking: Preheat your oven to 180°C (160°C fan). Season the chicken thighs with spices or marinade. Place in a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through and juices run clear.
- Braising: Season the chicken thighs and brown them in a pot with a little oil over medium-high heat. Add onions, garlic, carrots, and broth or wine to cover halfway up the thighs. Cover and simmer on low heat for 30-40 minutes, until the meat is tender and pulls away from the bone easily.
Storage Instructions

- Refrigerate: Store in the coldest part of your refrigerator at 1-4°C and consume within 1-2 days of purchase.
