How It’s Made
Our Goose Fat is rendered from locally sourced geese, carefully processed to retain its rich, silky texture and full-bodied flavour. The fat is gently clarified to remove impurities, ensuring a pure and premium cooking ingredient.
Cooking Instructions
Goose fat is ideal for roasting potatoes, giving them a crispy, golden exterior and a fluffy interior. Simply toss parboiled potatoes in goose fat, season with salt, and roast at 200°C for 45 minutes, turning occasionally until perfectly crisp. It can also be used for frying, sautéing, and enhancing the flavour of other roasted vegetables and meats.
Storage Instructions
- Refrigerate: Store in an airtight container at 1-4°C. It will keep for up to 6 months in the fridge.
- Freeze: For longer storage, freeze in a sealed container for up to 12 months. Thaw in the refrigerator before use.
