Pork Tenderloin
Indulge in the delicate and tender flavour of our locally sourced pork tenderloin, perfect for quick and delicious meals.
How It’s Made
Our pork tenderloin is sourced from local farms committed to ethical and sustainable practices. Each tenderloin is carefully trimmed and prepared by our skilled butchers to ensure exceptional quality and freshness.
Where It’s Butchered From
The pork tenderloin is taken from the loin of the pig, specifically the muscle that runs along the backbone. This cut is known for its lean and tender texture, making it versatile for various cooking methods.
Cooking Instructions
Cooking our pork tenderloin is quick and simple:
- Pan-Frying: Season the pork tenderloin with salt, pepper, and herbs. Heat a pan over medium-high heat with a little oil. Sear the tenderloin on all sides until golden brown, then reduce the heat and cook for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the internal temperature reaches 63°C. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Oven Roasting: Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan). Season the tenderloin and place it in a roasting pan. Roast for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 63°C. Rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Storage Instructions
To maintain the freshness and quality of your pork tenderloin:
- Refrigerate: Store in the coldest part of your refrigerator at 1-4°C and consume within 2-3 days of purchase.
- Freeze: Wrap tightly in plastic wrap or foil, or place in a freezer-safe container. Freeze for up to 6 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before cooking.
