Diced chicken is typically cut from both the breast and thigh portions, providing a mix of lean and slightly more flavourful meat. This combination ensures a balance of tenderness and taste suitable for various dishes.
Cooking Instructions
Cooking our diced chicken is quick and versatile:
- Stir-Fry: Heat a little oil in a wok or large frying pan over high heat. Add the diced chicken and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until cooked through. Add vegetables and your favourite stir-fry sauce, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Stews: Season the diced chicken with salt and pepper. Brown in a heavy-bottomed pot with a little oil. Add onions, garlic, carrots, and other vegetables, along with broth or stock. Simmer for 30-40 minutes until the chicken is tender and the flavours meld together.
- Casseroles: Preheat your oven to 180°C (160°C fan). Combine the diced chicken with vegetables, herbs, and a creamy or tomato-based sauce in a baking dish. Cover and bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the dish is bubbly.
Storage Instructions
