Cooking Instructions
Cooking our duck breast is a culinary delight:
- Pan-Seared Duck Breast: Score the skin of the duck breast and season generously with salt and pepper. Place skin-side down in a cold, dry pan. Heat over medium-high heat to render the fat and crisp the skin, about 8-10 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Roasted Duck Breast: Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan). Score the skin of the duck breast and season with salt, pepper, and herbs. Place skin-side up on a rack in a roasting pan. Roast for 15-20 minutes for medium-rare, or until the internal temperature reaches 55-60°C. Rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
