How It’s Made
Our sausage meat is made from high-quality, locally sourced pork. The meat is finely ground and mixed with a blend of traditional seasonings and spices. It is then piped into a plastic sleeve to ensure convenience and freshness.
Where It’s Butchered From
Sausage meat is made from a blend of pork shoulder, belly, and sometimes trimmings, providing a balance of lean meat and fat. This combination ensures a juicy and flavourful mixture suitable for various culinary uses.
Cooking Instructions
Cooking with our sausage meat is flexible and easy:
- Stuffing: Remove the sausage meat from the plastic sleeve. Use it to stuff poultry, vegetables, or as a filling for pastries. Bake as per your recipe’s instructions until the internal temperature reaches 70°C.
- Patties: Form the sausage meat into patties of your desired size. Heat a pan over medium heat with a little oil. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Adding to Recipes: Remove the sausage meat from the sleeve and crumble it into sauces, casseroles, or stews. Cook until browned and fully cooked through.
Storage Instructions

- Refrigerate: Store in the coldest part of your refrigerator at 1-4°C and consume within 2-3 days of purchase.
- Freeze: Keep the sausage meat in its plastic sleeve, or transfer to a freezer-safe container. Freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before cooking.
